Operating Information:

1. Initial Setup: Remove the protective cap and switch on the unit.
2. Calibration: If using for the first time or after a long period, calibrate the unit.
3. Measurement: Dip the electrode into the sample solution, stir gently, and wait for the value to stabilize.
4. Post-Use: Rinse the electrode in distilled or deionized water, dry carefully with tissue paper to avoid damaging the glass bulb.
5. Storage: After use, switch off the unit, add a few drops of distilled water to the cap, and replace it onto the pH meter.
6. Battery Replacement: If the unit fails to switch on or the display fades, replace all batteries.

pH Meter Calibration Instructions:

1. Standard Solution Calibration:
– Immerse the pH electrode in a 6.86 pH buffer solution at 25C.
– Gently shake the electrode.
– Adjust the potentiometer with the provided screwdriver until the display matches the buffer solution’s pH value.

2. Additional Buffer Calibration:
– Immerse the electrode in either a 4.01 pH or 9.18 pH buffer solution.
– Gently shake the electrode.
– Ensure the display matches the buffer solution’s pH value within the allowable error range.
