Endemic to deep, slow moving rivers inthe middle and lower Mekong basins in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, the Thin Bar Datnoid must be kept in a larger tank with slower flow in some areas. Being more predatory, they produce a ton of waste so heavy filtration is a must. A 75 gallon tank will be suitable to start one off in, but we highly recommend having a plan to upgrade the tank size within a year or two to suit its max size of almost a foott!
