Natural Habitat:

While the Neocaridina species originates from freshwater streams in Taiwan and southern Asia, this Chocolate variant is a selectively bred line created in captivity. These shrimp are adapted to life in planted aquariums and thrive in mature systems with biofilm and stable water parameters.

Aquascaping:

Plants: Mosses like Java Moss or Christmas Moss are ideal for grazing. Add Anubias, Bucephalandra, and Cryptocoryne for cover.
Hardscape: Shrimp love textured surfaces like lava rock, driftwood, and cholla wood.

Diet and Feeding:
