With the HYDROS Control 2 Starter Pack, you can gain control over many functions of your aquarium through a simple and intuitive interface. Whether youre a beginner or a seasoned reefer, youll find many valuable capabilities with the HYDROS Control 2. Out of the box, you’ll have control over 4 programmable outlets as well as temperature monitoring, and with the available Control devices, you can expand your system to monitor flow rates, control switches, detect leaks, and much more. When youre ready, the Control 2 offers expandability with a wide range of versatile HYDROS control devices to build an extensive system.

HYDROS Controllers have an industrial look because they are built to withstand the marine aquarium’s harsh environment. The IP65-rated HYDROS enclosure and aircraft-style connectors ensure long-term reliability in the face of splashes and corrosive salt spray.

HYDROS 4 Outlet WiFi AC Power Strip

The Starter Pack includes a HYDROS Power 4 WiFi Power Strip. This is a smart power bar designed to work with the HYDROS platform. The Power 4 has four 120V AC outlets and four USB ports that are WiFi controllable using the HYDROS app for Android and iOS/Apple mobile devices. You can turn outlets on and off wirelessly over a 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency. The Power 4 has a signal range of 98, so you can place power strips around your home without any difficulty connecting to your modem or router.

Each of the four outlets can be controlled individually while the four USB ports are controlled as one. The outlets have individual LED indicators and the USB ports have a single LED indicator. The status LEDs to indicate whether an outlet is on or off.

Sense Port

The Sense Port is a new concept in aquarium parameter measurement. HYDROS Control 2 includes two Sense Ports for expanded capabilities. A Sense Port is a generic input port that can accept data from numerous different types of sensors.

Drive Port

The exact current being supplied by each port is continuously monitored by the Control unit, so if a motor or pump quits drawing current or draws too much, you will be immediately notified.
