With a blend of krill, insect, mussel, and squid meals, this formula contains zero fish meal, making it a clean, nutrient-dense option for bottom-dwelling grazers and scavengers.

At Aquatic Arts, we feed Bottom Scratcher to many of our bottom-dwelling fish and shrimp species, including corydoras, loaches, dwarf crayfish, and caridina shrimp. Its especially useful in tanks where fish forage at the substrate level and need consistent access to slow-sinking, meaty food.

What Are Invertivores?

Invertivores are fish and invertebrates that specialize in eating aquatic invertebrates, such as insect larvae, small crustaceans, worms, and mollusks. Many popular freshwater aquarium speciesincluding corydoras, loaches, gobies, bumblebee catfish, freshwater puffers, and dwarf crayfishfall into this category.
Repashy Bottom Scratcher provides these animals with a diet that mirrors their natural food sources in a soft, slow-sinking form they can easily graze from the tank floor.

How to Use:

1. Bring water to a boil using the stove, microwave, or kettle.

2. Combine 1 part powder with 23 parts boiling water, stir immediately until smooth.

3. Pour into a mold or container and let it cool and set at room temperature.

4. Once firm, cut into cubes, slabs, or shred for feeding.

Jerky Option: After gel is prepared, slice into -inch thick pieces and dehydrate at 150F (65C) for 812 hours using an oven or food dehydrator for a slow-release feeding format.

Storage Tip: Store finished gel in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 6 months.
