Description: The Squareback Anthias are named after the very prominent purple square on the males. As Anthias, they are schooling fish and should be kept in groups or harems. If there are no males present in the tank, one of the females will transition into a male. They are fast moving fish with a high metabolism, and must be fed foods high in fatty acids and protein at least two to three times a day.
